I am a psychotherapist experienced in working with adults, children and families with a variety of concerns.

With adults and teens, my approaches often include insight-oriented therapy and cognitive-behavioral methods. When working with children, I often use play therapy and parent coaching.

In work with adoptive families and individuals and families and others with early life disruptions, I specialize in attachment and trauma-informed approaches.

Understanding personality style is something I find helpful in addressing obstacles in relationships at work, at home and in career development.

Qualifications

Clinical Social Worker and Therapist

I have a Master’s degree in Social Work, have completed an advanced psychotherapy training program at the University of Chicago, and am a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I am a TBRI® (Trust Based Relational Intervention) practitioner and trained in Theraplay® for families with children with trauma-based behaviors.
